As many parts of Canada grapple with a second wave of COVID-19, the future appears more uncertain than ever. Many businesses, from retail to travel and hospitality, continue to struggle as the economic opening is dialed back. Others, however, are booming. Amazon is hiring, the stock market is seeing a rush of new tech stock listings, and gold miners are literally printing cash.
What does Canada’s economic recovery look like? Is it a W, a U, an L or K – where some parts of the economy bounce back and others do not? What time frame should we be thinking about in terms of recovery, and what factors will most affect our ability to rebound? Join Canadian Club Toronto on October 20th as our expert panelists Craig Alexander (Deloitte), Armine Yalnizyan (Atkinson Fellow) and Avery Shenfeld (CIBC), moderated by Andrea Mandel-Campbell (NATIONAL Public Relations), unpack these questions and discuss their forecasts for Canada’s economic recovery

The Greater Stouffville Chamber is pleased to offer Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as part of our initiative to enhance member engagement and connectivity. These SIGs are communities within our Chamber that focus on advancing specific areas of interest, fostering collaboration among members with shared goals.
Currently, we have launched two SIGs:
Each SIG is led by a Chamber member and is designed to drive change and produce solutions through communication, meetings, and organized events. These groups provide unique opportunities to network with peers, share resources, and develop strategies to address challenges specific to their focus area.
Participation in a SIG is exclusive to Chamber members, making it an excellent opportunity for professional growth and community building. If you or someone you know is interested in joining one of our SIGs, please contact us at sebastian@stouffvillechamber.ca for more information and to secure your spot.
