In Stouffville, we’re taking this moment to spotlight our local business community, explore the challenges they face, and provide practical tools to help them thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.
According to the 2024 York Region Employment Survey, which surveyed 893 businesses in Stouffville, 78 percent are considered small businesses, meaning they employ between one to 19 employees. These businesses are the backbone of our local economy, contributing to job creation, community vibrancy, and long-term prosperity.
This year’s celebration comes at a pivotal time for our town. Stouffville’s historic downtown, the Village of Stouffville, is preparing for a major revitalization in 2026 as part of the Town’s Downtown Revitalization Project. Recognized as the heart of our community, this historic area is a central meeting place and shopping destination for residents and visitors alike and is mostly comprised of small business owners.

The Greater Stouffville Chamber is pleased to offer Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as part of our initiative to enhance member engagement and connectivity. These SIGs are communities within our Chamber that focus on advancing specific areas of interest, fostering collaboration among members with shared goals.
Currently, we have launched two SIGs:
Each SIG is led by a Chamber member and is designed to drive change and produce solutions through communication, meetings, and organized events. These groups provide unique opportunities to network with peers, share resources, and develop strategies to address challenges specific to their focus area.
