We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming Business Leaders’ Tariff Town Hall on March 27, 2025, from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Uxbridge Town Hall.
This timely and important event is jointly hosted by the Greater Stouffville Chamber, the Office of the Mayor of Stouffville, and the Office of the Mayor of the Township of Uxbridge.
In light of current US tariffs, retaliatory Canadian tariffs, and other pressing economic challenges, this Town Hall is a vital opportunity for our business community to voice concerns and share experiences. The primary goal is for the Chamber and the Mayors to listen to you, our business leaders, to understand how these issues, along with interprovincial regulations, energy costs, red tape, taxation, and other business costs, are impacting your operations.
Your input is crucial. The event will be interactive, allowing both in-person and virtual attendees to actively engage in discussions. We encourage you to come prepared to share the specific challenges you are facing. This feedback will enable the Chamber and the Mayors to advocate more effectively for our local businesses at regional, provincial and federal levels.
Please RSVP using the registration link in the upper right of this page, where you can indicate if you prefer to attend virtually or in person at Uxbridge Town Hall. Due to space limitations, we will notify those who prefer to attend in person as capacity permits. Everyone else will have the opportunity to join the event online and participate fully.
This event is free for the entire Greater Stouffville and Uxbridge business community. We urge you to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure your voice is heard during these uncertain times. Your participation is not only valuable but essential in shaping our collective approach to these challenges.

The Greater Stouffville Chamber is pleased to offer Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as part of our initiative to enhance member engagement and connectivity. These SIGs are communities within our Chamber that focus on advancing specific areas of interest, fostering collaboration among members with shared goals.
Currently, we have launched two SIGs:
Each SIG is led by a Chamber member and is designed to drive change and produce solutions through communication, meetings, and organized events. These groups provide unique opportunities to network with peers, share resources, and develop strategies to address challenges specific to their focus area.
Participation in a SIG is exclusive to Chamber members, making it an excellent opportunity for professional growth and community building. If you or someone you know is interested in joining one of our SIGs, please contact us at taya@stouffvillechamber.ca for more information and to secure your spot.
