As we move into the 2021 summer season and Canadian businesses have opened or are working towards opening back up as we contain the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies have gone through the process of applying for government funding and are looking at other funding programs they may be eligible for.
Like regular changes to the seasons, the government funding landscape is also changing throughout the year. Companies should evaluate their growth priorities and consider if government funding programs can help achieve success.
During this webinar, we'll share our insights on what the Canadian government funding landscape may look like in 2021, including COVID-19 financial support and the top grant, loan, wage subsidy, and tax credit programs businesses should be aware of.
Mentor Works' Alex Barlow will discuss a wide range of federal and provincial government funding opportunities including support programs related to COVID-19. Hiring and training employees, researching and developing innovative products/processes, expanding production and exports, and purchasing advanced technologies are just some of the ways that businesses plan to build a competitive edge; fortunately, these are all areas where companies can receive government grants and incentives.
Prerequisites for most Canadian government funding programs:

The Greater Stouffville Chamber is pleased to offer Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as part of our initiative to enhance member engagement and connectivity. These SIGs are communities within our Chamber that focus on advancing specific areas of interest, fostering collaboration among members with shared goals.
Currently, we have launched two SIGs:
Each SIG is led by a Chamber member and is designed to drive change and produce solutions through communication, meetings, and organized events. These groups provide unique opportunities to network with peers, share resources, and develop strategies to address challenges specific to their focus area.
Participation in a SIG is exclusive to Chamber members, making it an excellent opportunity for professional growth and community building. If you or someone you know is interested in joining one of our SIGs, please contact us at taya@stouffvillechamber.ca for more information and to secure your spot.
