On February 16, join us for a free webinar to learn how to tackle workplace mental health in 2023.
Disengaged workers, work overload, and burnout are not new workforce problems and were actually steadily increasing well before the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the pandemic created a tipping point, challenging not only long-held assumptions about the possibilities of working from home but also the power balance between employer and employee.
We now find ourselves in a time of readjustment and uncertainty, which offers a unique opportunity for employers and employees to come up with new approaches to long existing issues. In this climate of change, for-profit and nonprofit organizations can learn from each sector’s traditional strengths and vulnerabilities in managing employees.
In this webinar, attendees will be challenged to look for new approaches to our current state of work so they can avoid repeating the solutions that weren’t working prior to COVID-19 and aren’t likely to be successful in the new world of work we find ourselves in now.
Topic: New Solutions for Old Problems: Tackling Workplace Mental Health in 2023
Date: Thursday, February 16 at 1pm ET / 10am PT (webinar is 1 hour in length)

The Greater Stouffville Chamber is pleased to offer Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as part of our initiative to enhance member engagement and connectivity. These SIGs are communities within our Chamber that focus on advancing specific areas of interest, fostering collaboration among members with shared goals.
Currently, we have launched two SIGs:
Each SIG is led by a Chamber member and is designed to drive change and produce solutions through communication, meetings, and organized events. These groups provide unique opportunities to network with peers, share resources, and develop strategies to address challenges specific to their focus area.
Participation in a SIG is exclusive to Chamber members, making it an excellent opportunity for professional growth and community building. If you or someone you know is interested in joining one of our SIGs, please contact us at taya@stouffvillechamber.ca for more information and to secure your spot.
