Interested in building your entrepreneurial skills to launch your startup?
Founder Fundamentals is an 11-week workshop series brought to you by LaunchYU and Markham Small Business Centre (MSBC) designed to help you kickstart your entrepreneurial career.
Whether you are a professional services company, brick and mortar or technology startup, the program aims to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Spanning across topics such as Business Plan Writing, Bootstrapping, and Setting up a Shopify Store, this program provides a wide range of learning. The program also connects you with local resources for potential next steps as you progress in your entrepreneurial ventures.
Participants who attend at least 9 out of the 11 workshops will get a Certificate of Achievement, illustrating their dedication to learning about the essentials of launching a successful business.

Speaker: Graham Topa, Partner, Aird & Berlis LLP
Graham is a corporate lawyer who regularly acts as counsel to venture capital funds, banks and other institutional investors with respect to venture capital (debt and private equity), secured lending, senior and subordinated/mezzanine financings and asset and share sale transactions.
Graham also advises startups and emerging companies, including those in the social media, mobile application and technology sectors. He is a Director of the firm’s Startups Group and is committed to helping clients navigate legal and business challenges and build the solid foundation required to develop, grow and expand their business.
