Career Conversations panels is a series of virtual discussions via Zoom that focus on various fields of interest and are designed to provide students with an opportunity to connect with successful entrepreneurs; gain insight into areas of interest to them, and get advice from professionals currently working in the field.
For this special edition, YSpace is collaborating with York University Career Education & Development for a panel featuring entrepreneurs who will speak candidly about their entrepreneurial journey as it relates to mental health. During this event, professionals will share their personal stories about breaking into their field, how their career paths took them from graduation to where they are now, how mental health has affected them, and tips/resources that they use to deal with stress and triggers. The panel will be moderated by one of the Career Education & Development team members and followed by an open forum where students will have an opportunity to ask the panelists their own questions.

The Greater Stouffville Chamber is pleased to offer Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as part of our initiative to enhance member engagement and connectivity. These SIGs are communities within our Chamber that focus on advancing specific areas of interest, fostering collaboration among members with shared goals.
Currently, we have launched two SIGs:
Each SIG is led by a Chamber member and is designed to drive change and produce solutions through communication, meetings, and organized events. These groups provide unique opportunities to network with peers, share resources, and develop strategies to address challenges specific to their focus area.
Participation in a SIG is exclusive to Chamber members, making it an excellent opportunity for professional growth and community building. If you or someone you know is interested in joining one of our SIGs, please contact us at taya@stouffvillechamber.ca for more information and to secure your spot.
