SUMMARY:2022 Municipal Mayoral Candidates Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library and the Stouffville Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a municipal mayoral candidates meeting on Wednesday\, October 5\, 2022 from 7:00 pm   9:00 pm at Spring Lakes Golf Club located at 4962 Stouffville Road.\n\n \n\nThis free community event is for mayoral candidates only to debate issues that matter to Whitchurch-Stouffville and will be moderated by Mr. Jim Mason.\n\n \n\nIndividuals running for ward councillors will be invited to set up a table in the Spring Lakes Golf Club clubhouse from 6:00 pm   7:00 pm to chat with community members in advance of the meeting.\n\n \n\nAdditionally\, individuals running for ward councillors will be invited to the Library in September 2022 to pre-record their answers to a maximum of three questions.  These questions will be crafted by the Library and the Stouffville Chamber of Commerce and the same questions will be asked of all ward councillor nominees.\n\n \n\nThe video recordings will then be posted to the Library and the Stouffville Chamber of Commerce's socials and websites.
